This privacy policy explains how the Topograf app processes your personal data. We collect the minimal data necessary to provide our services.

Data we collect

Account info (email, display name, profile image); device info (app version, OS, device identifier); usage statistics; search inputs (cadastral references, addresses, map taps); saved content (parcels, collections, drawings, waypoints, notes, photos) and support requests.

Processing basis (UK GDPR / KVKK)

We process data under contract (service delivery), legitimate interests (improvement & security), consent (optional analytics) and legal obligations. We do not sell your data and do not use automated decision-making with legal effects.

Processors

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics), Apple App Store, Google Play, AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) and map/tile providers. Parcel, address and land information is served from our own dataset, compiled from official/public sources and provided within the app.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest; access is controlled via Firebase Security Rules. On account deletion your personal data is removed within ~30 days; anonymized analytics may persist longer.

International transfers

Overseas processing is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and encryption.

Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR and KVKK you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent. We respond within 30 days at no cost. Complaints: the ICO (UK) or the Turkish Data Protection Authority.
